Friends of Thundridge
We have an active Friends Association that regularly arranges social activities including quiz evenings, games evenings, dances and barbecues. It is also very successful in raising funds to support the work of the school through annual events such as the School Summer Fete and Christmas Bazaar.
Members of the committee include teachers, parents and members of the local community who have links with the school. All of our members work hard to support the school and work parties are arranged in order to carry out planned improvement projects. These are always well supported by willing helpers and are also a lot of fun.
The friends association can be contacted through our school email address:firstname.lastname@example.org

Dear Parents, Grandparents and Carers
Well another fun fantastic Disco for the children on Friday with DJ Franky providing the excellent music and screen. The children had a great time, and it was good to see them letting off a bit of steam on a Friday!
We really appreciate all the help we receive from all the parents that help us, especially to Emma Le Grys for her amazing face painting and a special Big Thank You to Fletcher's grandparents who generously donated the tasty sausages and to Fletcher's mum, Becky for cooking all 70 of them....they all got eaten! Thank you to all the parents for all the cake donations too.
The Friends Committee made a profit of £300.00 which is a fantastic amount to help towards the trimtrail for your children. It is so important that we have these events as it is good for the children to have some fun too!
The next event will be in July, date and hall TBC which will be...........
THUNDRIDGE SCHOOL HAS GOT TALENT/DISCO
We will be selling the tickets in June, so we can organise song choices/talent and the children will have time to organise their acts. We also need to know how many children to cater for and any food intolerances in advance.
We also hope to see as many parents there as possible to support their children showing everyone their talent. It will also be the last Disco for Year 6 which will give everyone the chance to say “goodbye” and we might have some extra surprises!
Thanks again from Team Disco
